Hello folks. I'm currently trying to optimize my algorithmic trading setup, but my broker didn't clearly state where their main servers are physically located. Instead of guessing, I used a specialized utility to ping vps locations directly to the trading terminal. It turns out moving my hosting away from my local residential network in the USA to a dedicated financial server dropped my latency from a laggy 80ms down to a crisp 2ms.
